Where does "Bob Law" fit in to the whole strike thing. He is listed as
the "regional coordinator" on the BBC news page where they give out his
mobile phone number.

Bobby Law's mobile number is 07930 527686? Really? Gosh, what WOULD happen
if that were to get widely known...

He'd get someone to read the instruction book to him to turn it off

"It was never the intention of the RMT union to spoil Londoner's
celebrations but to force the LU management to pull back from relaxing
safety measures brought in after the Kings Cross Fire."

A great many things can be said; that a statement is made does not
prove its truth.

Or, if you want simpler words:

"It was never the intention of the RMT union to spoil Londoner's
celebrations but to force the LU management to pull back from relaxing
safety measures brought in after the Kings Cross Fire."

Bull****.

[Oh, well I suppose they may have spoilt one Londoner's celebrations.]

From Comrade Bob Crow in his BBC bio:

"I'm not one of those union officials who continually say they regret the
inconvenience caused by industrial action.

You cannot have a dispute without inconvenience to the travelling public."

So the RMT are concerned about safety, but over at ASLEF, Northern
line drivers go on strike in support of a driver sacked for speeding,
passing a red signal and falling asleep!

Why don't you post your mobile number? You obviously think it's clever to do
it.

That offence has not been proved by an independent body.

My current correct mobile number is already in Google Groups, thank you. A
quick search for my full real name will find it. See if you can.

But I think you miss my point. Mine's of little interest to the users of
London Underground, because millions of people don't loath me.

What independent body do you suggest? The RMT leadership?

If that was the case, then they could have done something to hurt the
management, as opposed to something that hurt the public, and by
consequence, the management. I think you'll find the public doesn't
appreciate being used as a pawn by anyone.
