I am pretty liberal about crime, but for some reason graffiti gets my
hackles up.
I think it's partly because the vandals become all self-righteous when they
are nabbed and start babbling on about 'art' and all that crap.

That's overdoing it a bit, but it would be fun to look out the window of a
South London train and see them chained to a cutting wall for a fortnight.

A man's vehicle is a symbol of his manhood.
That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line -
It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes

So they were lucky enough to have the person caught on a unit where the
saloon CCTV equipment was actually working. All they need to do now is get
the dud 30-40% saloon CCTVs working to perhaps catch somebody elsee at it.

Personally, I consider seeing every spare square inch covered in banal
advertising far more unpleasant than graffiti but I do hate seeing windows
scratched on trains.

Yebbut that would overcrowd them further, thus punishing the innocent
co-commuters...
