I wonder if there are any alternative facilities nearby? Should be possible within the hour's stop, unless the facilities are very limited. It's one every 12 seconds... I assume it will be somewhat gender unbalanced. Agreed. -- Roland Perry |

It looks as if all those routes will be covered plus West Ham siding (why twice?). And why four passes over the northern Circle, and only one the southern? To even it up, the first leg should really have gone via Tower Hill clockwise to Wimbledon, even that was never an official end-to-end route (but neither is Wimbledon to Barking via Kings Cross). That isn't possible assuming the train is leaving from the bay platforms at Moorgate. Peter Smyth |

Yes, I know they said "pack". and bear in mind the limited comfort breaks so might like to use the loos at Liverpool St before going to Moorgate. I'm struggling with the idea that anyone would pay good money to ride on that junk. I can only imagine none of you had to suffer the bloody things on a daily commute. I'd might however pay to see them shoved off a barge into the atlantic like new york did with their old trains. -- Spud |

I've travelled on them many times from new (including when they had the Metacones and transverse seats). I think the gentleman doth protest too much. For a number of years on and off I travelled from KX to the City. They were hideous trains - seats that were too small, a jerky ride and frankly they were too short for the number of passengers trying to use them. Whoever thought 6 cars would be enough should have been sacked. I'd might however pay to see them shoved off a barge into the atlantic like new york did with their old trains. Generous to a fault as usual I see! Maybe some fish might appreciate them more that I did. -- Spud |
