And i suspect a tube map with both Southwark and Aldwych would

LUL published one in 1994. It can be seen on p63 of Mr Beck's
Underground Map

That map was never published. It was produced for internal use
only, as the basis for incorporating the extensions and new lines
then envisaged, e.g. JLE, ELLE, Crossrail, Chelsea-Hackney.

The OP simply suggested that it would be difficult
to find a tube map with both Southwark and Aldwych on it.

Alright, smartarse - Aldwych, Southwark *and* Peckham Rye!

You'll have to try harder than that, Tom! Peckham
Rye is also on the map on p.63 of Mr Beck's
Underground Map (on the ELL extension). :-)

Aldwych, Southwark, Peckham Rye AND UTOPIA PLANITIA CENTRAL.

Keep it on topic, lad!
Aldwych, Southwark AND KING WILLIAM STREET.

A man's vehicle is a symbol of his manhood.
That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line -
It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes

Surely you're in knip, after crossing the Thames? Or is that only in
Quadrant 5 rulesets?

With Southwark following Aldwych, I assumed we were playing using the
Fleet parallel forced turnback rules. Otherwise Aldwych to Southwark
would be a very dodgy move!

Not necessarily. You can invoke the little known Great Northern,
Brompton & Piccadilly Historical Set at that point. **Provided** you
don't use "British Museum" on the Central, Aldwych can double for that,
some of its treasures having been stored on the branch during the war.

I always thought that British Museum was dangerous to play after
invoking GNP&BHS because of the combined ghost station/joined station
paradox when the interchange was built at Holborn!
